Helen Pearson

Helen L. Pearson, 75, of Chillicothe, died Sunday, July 30, 2006, at 5:50am in Westmoreland Place Nursing Home. She was born March 21, 1931, in Cleveland, OH, to Fred and Rosetta Hall Edwards. On May 1, 1953, she married Reuben Pearson, Jr. who survives. Also surviving are her daughters Patricia A. Miles, Cleveland; Margaret Pearson-Brown, Londonderry; Barbara Kay Holmes, Cleveland; Cathleen Pearson, Kent, OH; her son Staff Sergeant Reuben Pearson, III, of California; grandchildren: Rochelle Miles, Furman Eric Miles, Andre Miles, Natasha Pearson, Natika Pearson, Cherice Brown, Keisha Brown, Aurora Pearson, and Reuben Pearson, IV; a host of great-grandchildren; a sister Margaret Mitchell, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her parents, her step-father George Wise, an infant son Leonard Taylor, and a step-sister Bobbie Alice Lively. Mrs. Pearson was a member of the Ross Co. Senior Citizens and was an organizer of the Desert Storm Veteran Support Group. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held at 5:00pm Friday at the Haller Funeral Home. Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family. Friends may call from 3-5pm Friday at Haller Funeral Home.
