Harry G. Lines, 78, passed from this life at 3:00am Saturday, September 20, 2014, at his residence following a 2 ½ year battle with cancer. He was born January 20, 1936, in Morrow Co., OH to the late Bill and Rose Lines. His is survived by his son Toby (Heather) Lines, Columbus, OH; ex-daughter-in-law Amy Lines, Ohio; grandchildren: Amanda and her companion Curtis; Zackery Lines; great-grandchildren: Mason and Kendyl Lines, Ohio; step-grandchildren: Suzy Hinton and her companion Antoni Young; and Travis Carter; step-great-grandchildren: Brendon and Brayleigh Young; a very extra special friend and companion Eleanor Brust and her sons Rich, John and Ed Good and their wives, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her step-children and their families; a lot of close friends and his caregiver Kendra Mingus. He was predeceased by an infant daughter Susan; and infant grandson Justin Lines. He retired from Baylor Trucking as a semi-truck driver. He was a member of the Eagles, Aerie 600 and the SAL of the American Legion, Post #62. Special thanks to the Ohio Dept. of Area Agency on Aging District 7, Passport, Adena Cancer Center, Adena Hospice, Dr. Kuntz and Dr. VanDeusen and their great staff for their loving in care. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, September 25, at the Spence Funeral Home, 650 W. Waterloo St., Canal Winchester, OH, 43110. Burial will follow in Union Grove Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8pm at Spence Funeral Home. Locally, friends may call Tuesday from 5-8pm at Haller Funeral Home.
