Harold I. Kinney, 91, of Chillicothe, died Friday, December 22, 2006, in Adena Regional Medical Center. He was born May 5, 1915, in Ross Co. to the late William F. and Blanche (Keel) Kinney. He was the widower of Mabel Y. (Cousins) Kinney, who preceded him in death June 17, 2002. Surviving are his children: Talissa Kinney, Chillicothe; Melba Harewood, Hillsboro; Harold "Pete" Kinney, Jr., Carol Kinney, Robbie Kinney, and Mike Kinney, all of Chillicothe; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a sister Mildred Martin, Chillicothe. He was predeceased by 6 children: Janice, Cynthia, Craig, Darius, Kim, and Jamie. Harold had worked as a presser for Lang's Dry Cleaning. He served his country in the US Army during WWII. He was a member of the First Baptist Church, where funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday, December 26, with Rev. Jonathan McReynolds officiating. Military graveside services conducted by the Ross Co. Veterans Honor Guard will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00am until 1:00pm Tuesday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home.
