Harmalee LeMaster, 82, of Chillicothe, died at 5:19am Saturday, November 26, 2005, in Adena Regional Medical Center. He was born August 24, 1923, in Johnson Co., KY, to the late Benjamin F. and Maxine McKenzie LeMaster. On August 16, 1954, he married the former Betty J. Ritchie, who survives. Also surviving are his daughter Bettina Groves; his son Darren B. LeMaster and his girlfriend Carrie Pauley and her children, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren Lauren Groves, Andrea Groves, and Hunter B. LeMaster; a sister Louise Noel, Columbus; brothers Ben LeMaster, Grove City; and Ray LeMaster, New Albany. He was predeceased by brothers James and Theodore; and sisters Garnet Lepley and Vestie LeMaster. Harmalee was a member of the Adena Road Church of Christ. He retired from the Veterans Affairs Medical Center where he worked as a Travel Clerk. He was a member and past president of the Ross Co. Exchange Club, a little league and pony league baseball coach, a bingo worker at the K of C, a baseball fan, and a helping hand to many people. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Wednesday, November 30, at the Haller Funeral Home with Evangelist Sherman Mullett officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8pm at Haller Funeral Home.
