Hanna Stearos

Hanna A. Stearos, 88, of Chillicothe, died at 12:50pm, July 4, 2015, at Traditions of Chillicothe following a brief illness. She was born in Bremerhaven, Germany on January 28, 1927 to the late Dietrich and Johanne (Schubler) Ricke. On November 29, 1954 she married Pete Stearos, who preceded her in death on November 9, 2005. She is survived by four children, Bernard A. (Barbara E.) Stearos, Theodore P. (Alexis) Stearos, and Christine A. (Craig) Shoemaker, all of Chillicothe; and James P. (Sheila) Stearos, of Frankfort; 7 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband, Hanna was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters. Hanna was a homemaker, enjoyed cross stitching and loved shopping. In accordance with the wishes of the family, there will be no public services.
