Hal Adcock

October 18, 1957 — April 3, 2021

Hal Richard Adcock, 63, of Frankfort, passed away Saturday afternoon, April 3, 2021 at the Ohio State University James Cancer Center, following a brief battle with cancer.

He was born October 18, 1957, in Louisville, Kentucky, son of Hal J. Adcock and the late Donna Sue Beeler. On November 4, 1978, he married Barbara (Parker) Adcock, and together they shared over 42 years of marriage.

In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by his son, Ryan (Mindy Martin) Adcock; a granddaughter, Lila Kelly; two siblings, Joe (Sarah) Adcock, and Theresa Miles; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members. In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Bower.

Hal was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Navy. He was extremely proud of the log home he built for his family, and loved finding new home improvement projects for it. He also enjoyed being outdoors, going fishing, watching NASCAR and the Ohio State Buckeyes. But most of all, he loved spending time with his family.

In accordance with his wishes, private celebration of life services will take place at a future date.
