H. Juanita Castle, 84, of Chillicothe, died at 11:38pm Wednesday May 21, 2008, in Adena Regional Medical Center. Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 6-8pm at Haller Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 12:00 Noon Wednesday at the Tucker-Yocum-Wilson Funeral Home, Georgetown, KY. Friends may call Wednesday from 10am-Noon at the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Masonic Cemetery, Stamping Ground, KY. Juanita was born June 15, 1923, to the late Ernest Daniel and Mary Ella (Todd) Davis. On October 13, 1944, she married Charles E. Castle, who preceded her in death on February 26, 1994. Surviving are her nephews James (Terisa) Nelson, of Dover, TN; Tim (Regina) Nelson, Murfreesboro, TN; a niece Danita Scrivner, Rutherford, TN; and six great-nieces. She was predeceased by her sisters Lois Davis and Vivian Nelson; and a great-nephew. Juanita was a retired school teacher. She worked in the county school system, having taught in the Huntington and Union-Scioto Schools districts, as well as worked in the county offices.
