Gypsy Lee Lowry, a cherished resident of Chillicothe, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 10th, 2026, at the age of 86. Born on Sunday, June 18th, 1939, in Madison County, Ohio, Gypsy lived a life filled with love, creativity, and dedication to her family and passions.

A licensed beautician by trade, Gypsy brought beauty and confidence to everyone she touched throughout her career. Her warm smile and skilled hands were a testament to her commitment to her craft and her community.

Gypsy was a woman of many interests. She found joy and tranquility in fishing and camping, along with the intricate arts of sewing and crocheting. However, her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, who were the heart of her world.

Gypsy is survived by her beloved children: Jody Edwards (Robert Stewart), Dwain (Pam) Lowry, and Onda Lowry. She was a proud and loving grandmother to JB (Haylee) Edwards, Janna (Drew) Zickafoose, Heidi (Chris) Steinbrook, Whitney (Adam) Skaggs, Michelle (Rick) Ray, Amie (Romi) Kern, and Jeremiah (Atasha) Zeisler, and her 5 siblings. Her legacy also includes 27 great-grandchildren, each of whom had a special place in her heart.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Delbert M. Bush Sr. and Deloris M. Bush; her beloved husband, George E. Lowry; one great-grandchild; and two siblings, whose memories she cherished.

A private family graveside service to honor Gypsy's life was held on Wednesday, April 15, 2026. As her family gathers in memory of her radiant spirit, they carry forward the love and warmth she brought into their lives.

Gypsy Lee Lowry will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her. Her essence remains alive in the countless memories she created and the lives she touched.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to a charity of your choice in Gypsy's honor, as a token of the compassion and generosity she showed throughout her life.
