Gwendolyn Regina (Lewis) Werner, 67, of Chillicothe, passed away early Wednesday morning, June 28, 2023 at home, following an extended illness.
She was born March 25, 1956, in Toledo, Ohio, daughter of the late Lorraine (Ratliff) Lewis and George Molloy.
She is survived by her beloved daughter and son-in-law, Tammy (Jeff) Hawkins; her grandchildren, Brandon (Kaycie) Hawkins, Wesley (Elizabeth) Hawkins, Reggie Hawkins, Isabella Morris, Makenzie Morris, and Abagail Morris; three great-grandchildren, Eliana, Ezekiel, and Penelope; a brother, John Malloy; a sister, Karen Malloy; as well as numerous extended family members and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Victor John Morris, Jr.; infant daughter, Angela Marie Morris; and her brother, Jerry Lewis.
Gwendolyn enjoyed attending Cornerstone Church in Chillicothe when able. In her free time, she could be found spending time outdoors, working in the yard on her flower beds, tending to her garden plants, or mowing the lawn. She also enjoyed going fishing and spending time with family.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation services will be performed. Private graveside services at Grandview Cemetery will be held in the columbarium at a future date.
