Gusta M. Montgomery Gusta M. Montgomery, 88, of Chillicothe, went to meet her Lord and Savior, and her husband, peacefully, in her daughter's home, surrounded by family, 9:35 pm, Friday, May 16, 2008, following an extended illness. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Tuesday in the Haller Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 pm Monday at Haller's. She was born April 1, 1920 in Magoffin Co., KY to Jonny and Alice Hurles Estep. On November 4, 1939 she married Hasadore Montgomery, who died September 15, 2000. Survivors include her children, Barbara (Rodney) Titler, of Chillicothe, Michael (Nancy) Montgomery, of Mason, OH, and Daniel (Donna) Montgomery, of Chillicothe; seven grandchildren, Crystal (Jeffrey) Davis, Stephen (Beth) Titler, Todd Montgomery, Jarrod (Kate) Montgomery, Bryan (Christina) Montgomery, Brad (Lisa) Montgomery, and Chelsea (Aaron) Schreiner; 7 great-grandchildren, Alexandria, Nathan, Tori, Benjamin, Joseph, Elaine, and Mason; a brother, Steve Hurles; and 10 special brothers and sisters-in-law. She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Isaac Montgomery and Douglas Titler; and three brothers, Norman Estep, and Jack and John Hurles. Mrs. Montgomery was a life long member of Chillicothe Baptist Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the Adena Health Foundation, Friends of Hospice, 272 Hospital Road, Chillicothe, OH 45601.
