Gregory Brock

Gregory L. Brock, 55, of Chillicothe, formerly of Zanesville, OH, died Wednesday, June 20, 2007, in the Cleveland Clinic following an extended illness. He was born February 1, 1952, in Zanesville to Clarence W., Jr. and Betty Jane (Murray) Brock. On April 24, 1976, he married the former Ruth Ann Dodson, who survives. Also surviving are his sons Neal Brock, Chillicothe; and Nicholas Brock, Wilkesboro, NC; his mother, Betty Jane Dodson, Zanesville; brothers and sisters-in-law Steve (Patsy) Brock; Tom (Susan) Brock; sister and brother-in-law Kim (Tom) Wisecarver, all of Zanesville; and many nieces, nephews, and special friends. He was predeceased by his father; his step-father Gerald Dodson; and brothers Danny and Jeff Brock. Greg was a former Store Manager for Hart's Store and currently operated Quality Trophies. He was a member of the Unioto Athletic Boosters and an avid Ohio State Buckeye Football and Basketball fan. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 7:00pm Saturday, June 23, at the Haller Funeral Home. Friends may call from 4-7pm Saturday at Haller's. Following services in Zanesville on Monday, bury will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery, Zanesville. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to either the Unioto Athletic Booster's Scholarship Fund, 1565 Egypt Pike, Chillicothe, OH 45601; or the American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Blvd., Suite 1010, Rockville, MD, 20852-9813.
