Grant Thomas Shea Bohn, 51, of Chillicothe, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday morning, January 7, 2026.
He was born June 19, 1974, in Chillicothe, Ohio, son of the late Edward Joseph and Patricia Marie (Shea) Bohn.
He is survived by his brothers, Tim Bohn, Allan (Brenda) Bohn, and Daniel (Bethann) Bohn; his nieces and nephews, Eli Bohn, Ethan Bohn, Emily (Clayton) Butcher, Christopher (Kawena) Bohn, Matthew (Danielle) Baugh, Ashley Toombs; great-nieces and great-nephews, Audrey, Wade, Blake, Averie, Millie, and Rexlie; as well as many, many close friends to numerous to count! In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, John Bohn.
Grant was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, class of 1993. He was well known in the Chillicothe area for his cheerful personality and fun demeanor. He served locals at Carl’s Townhouse for the last 20 years, where patrons and coworkers became like family. Many would go on to say that Grant was the life of the party and could frequently be found spending time with family and friends in the downtown area after work. He loved watching sports, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cincinnati Bengals. He was also a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, the Chillicothe Moose Lodge 1626, and the Chillicothe Elks Lodge #52.
A funeral service to celebrate Grant’s life will be held at 11:00am on Monday, January 19, 2026 at the Haller Funeral Home, with Celebrant Lawrence Hummer officiating. Burial will follow in St. Margaret Cemetery next to his parents. Friends are invited to join the family on Sunday, January 18, 2026 at the funeral home from 2:00pm-5:00pm for visitation.
