Goldie Leffler
September 4, 1932 — December 15, 2024
Our beloved mom, the Matriarch of our family, went home to be with Jesus on Sunday December 15, 2024. She was born in Pike County on September 4, 1932, to Elza Earl and Mammie Marguerite Emrich. She was a 1950 graduate of Waverly High School. She retired from General Electric.
She is survived by her children, Carla Sue Davis, Rick Tripp, Danny Tripp, Tim (BJ) Tripp, Jeff (Patty) Pettit, Dot Pettit, Sherry (Wayne) Unger, Gary (Stacie) Pettit, 28 grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren, and 7 Great-great grandchildren.
She was a member of the Jefferson Avenue Church of Christ and Christian Union for over 40 years.
She was predeceased by her parents, her husbands, Clarence "Gene" Pettit and Gordon Leffler, and Infant daughter and grandson Dylan Jackson.
A Celebration of Goldie's Life will be held at Haller Funeral Home, on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 6:00 pm officiated by son, Rick Tripp and Pastor Mark Clendaniel. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 pm. A private burial will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank Adena Hospice nurses and staff for the care she was given in addition to Adena Fayette Medical Center for her care while in Respite.
