Goldie Kunz

Goldie Mae Kunz, 93, of Londonderry, died 2:15 am, Monday, May 6, 2013, following a brief illness. She was born September 24, 1919 in Gillespieville, OH to the late William B. and Hazel V. Hines Conaway. On January 25, 1943 she married the late William A. Kunz, who died March 31, 2003. Survivors include her son, Donald W. (Lois) Kunz, of Frankfort; a daughter, Mary (Richard) McWhorter, of Londonderry; grandchildren, Donald Kunz Jr., Shevelle (friend Mark) Kunz, and E. Scott (Diana) Kunz; great-grandchildren, Alysha, Braedon, and Abigail; a sister, Betty Manor; three brothers, Albert, Wayne (Ginny), and Glenn (Sherry) Conaway; and a brother-in-law, Edwin (Lauragene) Kunz. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Kevin A. Kunz; two brothers, Francis and Edwin Conaway; and three infant siblings. Mrs. Kunz volunteered for the Chillicothe Hospital and the Adena Health System for over 35 years. The family would like to thank Heartland of Chillicothe for their excellent care. Graveside funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Friday in Londonderry Cemetery, under the direction of the Haller Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm until the time of the service, at the cemetery.
