Glenna Shade

Glenna L. Shade, 72, of Waverly, died at 4:08am July 10, 2021, at Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.   She was born September 3, 1948, in Cabell County, WV, to the late David Stanley and Lucille B. (Evans) Meadows.   Surviving are her daughters: Pam Aldridge, of Grove City, and Stephanie Sands, Chillicothe; grandchildren: Jessica Ward, London, OH, Tyler Felts, Ft. Carson, CO, Michael Stafford, Chillicothe, Jennifer (Donovan) Mayle, Blacklick, OH, Jason Doles, Chillicothe, and Josh and Steven Cunningham; many great-grandchildren; her caretaker Kaila Carroll; her church family and friends; and her beloved dogs Shasta and Krissie and her cockatoo Casper. She was predeceased by her daughter Mary Sands, her parents, and 12 siblings.   Glenna was a member of Mt. Tabor Community Christian Church. She had worked as a dog groomer.   Following cremation, graveside services will be held at later date in the near future in Floral Hills Memory Gardens with Pastor Rick Hartley officiating.
