Glenn Winfield

Glenn Turon Winfield, 37, of Chillicothe, passed from this life on December 25, 2011, at 10:05am. Glenn, known as "Tronnie" to all of his friends, will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He loved to write poetry and sing. Glenn resided at 189 Arch St. with his son Jacob, his parents Carl E. and Betty L. (Harris) Winfield and his nieces, who survive. Also surviving are his sons Mykel, Tory, Troni II, and Jacob; his daughter Whitney; 4 grandchildren; four brothers and sisters-in-law Carl (Moneaca) Harris/Winfield; Jemar (Becky) Harris/Winfield; Leroy "Kooly" (Amy) Winfield; and Jeramy M. "Bear" Winfield; Tronnie's special friend Brandee Jordan; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was predeceased by his nephew Marcus Winfield, a special uncle Butch Hatfield and his grandparents: Lawrence (Mary) Harris and Lloyd (Grace) Winfield. The family would like to express their gratitude and appreciation to the members and clergy of Zion Baptist Church and First Baptist Church for their extension of support and care during this difficult time. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, December 31, at the Zion Baptist Church with Rev. J. Troy Gray and Pastor Jeremy Beverly officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call Saturday from 11am until 1pm at the church.
