Glenn E. Park, 93, of Chillicothe, died March 10, 2021, at Adena Regional Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born May 23, 1927, in Chillicothe to the late James O. and Nancy Irene (Rhoades) Park. On February 24, 1951, he married the former Frances E. Gray, who preceded him in death August 12, 2001. Surviving are his sons and daughters-in-law: Jeffery (Allison) Park, Kelly (Debbie) Park, Leslie (Rita) Park, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren: Adam (Stacey) Park, Emily (Jason) Stauffer, Matthew (Ashley) Park, Bradley (Abby) Park, Chelsea (Matt) Jaruwannakorn, Corin Brewer and Carie (Jason) Chesser; 14 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a granddaughter Lesley Nicole Park; brothers Donald (Betty) and Alvin (Geraldine) Park; and sisters Phyllis Johnson, Alice (Ed) McNeal, Eleanor (Lloyd) Morris, Bernice (Woodrow) Carroll, Lavonne (Russ) Bethel and an infant sister Naomi. Glenn was a graduate of Huntington High School, Class of 1945. He retired from the Chillicothe Telephone Co. following over 30 years of service. He was a member of the B.P.O.Elks, Lodge #52, the Unioto Boosters and the Moose lodge. He loved hunting racoon and rabbit, gardening and traveling. In keeping with his wishes, cremation services have been conducted. The family will receive friends from 1-3pm Tuesday, April 6, at Haller Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either the Ross Co. Senior Citizens; or Nationwide Children's Hospital in memory of Lesley Nicole Park.
