Glenda Mary Leedy, 88, of Chillicothe, passed away on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at National Church Residences – Traditions, following an extended illness.
She was born February 20, 1934 in Chillicothe, daughter of the late Edward and Olive Edler. On October 12, 1953, she married Ivan Boyd Leedy, and together they shared 66 years of marriage before his passing October 15, 2019.

Surviving are their children, Michael (Linda) Leedy, Deborah (Rick) Hamilton, and Phillip (Carol) Leedy; four grandchildren, Brian (Kayla), Nathan (Jennifer), Rachel (Reagan), and Meghann; 2 great-grandchildren, Elizabeth and Briseis; and four siblings, Sanford (Ginny) Edler, Jack (Karen) Edler, Janet Dalrymple, and Cindy Miller. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence "Ted" Edler.

Glenda was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, class of 1952. She was a member of the Londonderry United Methodist Church, and she spent time volunteering as a Sunday School Teacher. In her free time, she enjoyed embroidery and singing.

A graveside service for family and friends will be held at 11:00am on Monday, May 2, 2022 at the Londonderry Cemetery, with Pastor Jim Steele officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her honor to National Church Residences Hospice, 681 E. 3 rd St., Waverly, Ohio 45690, or to a charity of the donor's choice.
