Gilda Bickett

Gilda M. Bickett, 65, of Chillicothe, died December 9, 2009, at Westmoreland Place Nursing Home. She was born October 24, 1944 in Dayton, OH to Willard and Vivian Dolin Barnett. On April 8, 1972 she was united with Louis R. Bickett, who survives. Also surviving is her daughter, Luanna R. Bickett; two grandchildren, Braydon and Brody; several nieces, nephews; cousins; and many friends. She never met a stranger. A proud 1962 graduate of Chillicothe High School, her greatest joy was making people laugh and feel good. She was raised in Chillicothe and lived in Waverly for 30 years. Both hold a special place in her heart. She loved the people she worked with at AECU; the First National Bank; Kohls; Heartland of Chillicothe; the Savings Bank; all of her best buds at the Pleasant Valley Regional Sewer District and her Lunch Bunch. Graveside funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Monday in Grandview Cemetery, Rev. William Hahn officiating. Friends may call 1-3 pm Sunday at the Haller Funeral Home.
