George William Gaul, 78, of Chillicothe, passed away early Wednesday morning, December 22, 2021 at the Adena Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness.
He was born March 20, 1943, in Hillsboro, Ohio, son of the late Russell and Wyoma Gaul. On September 5, 1962, he married the love of his life, Connie Sue (Weidauer) Gaul, and together they shared over 59 years of marriage.
In addition to his beloved wife, he is survived by three daughters, Cheri (Charles) Jobe, Annette (Joe) Falco, and Aimee (Adam) Bayes; grandchildren, Zach, Alec, Victor, Allissa, and Jared; his beloved dog, Duke; best friend, David Michael Ackley; and his Coffee Club Buddies.
George was an honorably discharged veteran of the United States Navy. He went on to work for the United States Postal Service and retired as Post Master following a lengthy career.
In accordance with his wishes, private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
