Genevieve Clark

Genevieve I. Clark, 90, of Chillicothe, died 1:02 am, Saturday, September 03, 2011, at Westmoreland Place Nursing Home. She was born June 12, 1921 in Ross Co. to Ora and Bertha Scott Murray. On September 21, 1943 she married Ralph N. Clark, who died April 27, 2004. Survivors include her daughters, Rita (Mike) Spindler, of Chillicothe and Nyla A. (Todd) Phillips, of Groveport; 3 grandchildren, Amy Spindler, Aaron (Shawna) Spindler, and Abbey Phillips; great-grandchildren, Kaitlin, Mikayla, and Alex Spindler; a brother, Gerald Murray, of Ray; a brother-in-law, Alva Clark; 4 sisters-in-law, Marilyn Riddle, Virgie Burt, Marjorie Kinney, and Jane Clark; numerous nieces and nephews including Raymond (Patty) Clark. She was preceded in death by her husband; 3 sisters, Marjorie Kinney, Juanita Winks, and Elwanda Doyle; 2 brothers, Scott and Ora Murray Jr.; and a former grandson-in-law, Todd Lusk. Mrs. Clark, known to many as "Granny," was a graduate of Richland Township High School and enjoyed crocheting, crafts, traveling and camping. Graveside funeral services will be held 1:30 pm Thursday in Londonderry Cemetery. Friends may call 11-1 Thursday at the Haller Funeral Home.
