Geneva Cottrill

Geneva Cottrill Geneva Cottrill, 70, of Chillicothe, went to be with her Lord 11:29 am, Saturday, August 26, 2006, at the Adena Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness. She was born March 21, 1936 to the late Conn and Louvenna Pelfrey Kelley. On June 7, 1953 she married Charles E. Cottrill, who survives. Also surviving are her three sons, Charles Jr. (Jayne), William and Robert (Patty) Cottrill, all of Chillicothe; five grandchildren, Chris, of Lucasville, Becky, of Chillicothe, Charleena, of Chillicothe, Robert, of Ray, and Erin, of Shawnee State; a great grandson, Braeden, of Lucasville; two sisters, Wandaline Minney, of Chillicothe and Roberta Mills, of Springfield; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a son, Connely, and a stillborn child. Geneva was a homemaker who loved cooking, sewing, quilting, and crocheting for her family and friends. She was very active with her church, when she was physically able, and always there to lend help and support to anyone who needed it. She had been active in the local Chronic Pain Support Group, where she found lasting friendships and support, and participated in national chronic pain events. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday in the Haller Funeral Home, Rev. Roland Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Caldwell Cemetery. Friends may call 5-7 pm Tuesday and one hour prior to the service at Haller's.
