Gary Vinson Gary Vinson, 55, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly at 4:17am, May 8, 2007, at Adena Regional Medical Center. He was born September 13, 1951, in Portsmouth, VA, to the late Hermon C. and Nell Lou Watts Vinson. On September 20, 1980, he married the former Kimberly D. Bowling, who survives. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Friday at Haller Funeral Home with Rev. John Burris officiating. Burial will follow in Grandview Cemetery. Friends may call Friday from 11am until 1pm at Haller Funeral Home. In addition to his wife, Gary is survived by his daughter Amanda R. Vinson; his son Craig H. Vinson and his fiancée Courtney Rice, all of Chillicothe; his brother and sister-in-law Larry (Connie) Vinson, of Wisconsin; sisters and brothers-in-law Margaret (Bill) McCoy; and Brenda (John) Estep, all of Circleville; father-in-law and mother-in-law John and Carol Bowling, Chillicothe; brothers-in-law Douglas (Jackie) Bowling, South Carolina; Randell (Jennifer) Bowling, Dayton, OH; an aunt and uncle Glendon and Roberta Vinson, Cookeville, TN; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Gary was a registered nurse caring for patients in both Pickaway and Ross Counties, most recently working at Heartland of Chillicothe for the past 8 years. Gary was a good nurse and enjoyed caring for his patients. He was also an avid sports fan.
