Gary Seymour

Gary N. Seymour, 59, of Chillicothe, died 7:10 am, Monday, June 14, 2010, at his home, unexpectedly. He was born June 27, 1950 in Chillicothe to Conner and the late Electa Bolles Seymour. On July 18, 1973 he married Deborah J. Laughlin, who survives. In addition to his wife; father and step-mother, Conner and Aletha Seymour, survivors include his children, Jerry N. (Amanda) Seymour and Jamie J. (David) Strawser; four grandchildren, Colton, Electa, and Chloe Seymour and Hailee Strawser; and a brother, Christopher Seymour. He was preceded in death by his mother. Mr. Seymour retired from Classic Brands as a truck driver. His first love was music and he enjoyed playing bass guitar in a band. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and will be missed by all. Funeral services will be held 8:00 pm Thursday at the Haller Funeral Home, Rev. Marty Baker officiating. Private graveside services will be held in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, at the convenience of the family. Friends may call 6-8 pm Thursday at Haller's. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
