Garnet Ison

Garnet J. Ison, 71, of Massieville, died Monday October 13, 2008, in her home. In honoring her wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service. Memorial contributions may be made to either: Brookside Church, 2215 Egypt Pike, Chillicothe; or Adena Hospice, 111 W. Water St., Chillicothe. Arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home. Garnet was born June 3, 1937, in Ross Co. to the late Harley and Hazel McKenzie Hardesty. She is survived by three daughters and two sons, including her son Kenny, who cared for her the last weeks of her life; four sisters, two brothers and numerous grandchildren, including a special granddaughter Danika. She was predeceased by a daughter, a brother and two sisters. Garnet faithfully attended Brookside Church until her health prevented her from going.
