Freda Cottrill

Freda A. Cottrill, 87, of Chillicothe, died Wednesday, October 17, 2007, in the Adena Regional Medical Center, unexpectedly. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Monday in the Haller Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Norman and Rev. David Dean officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Garden. Friends may call 2-5 pm Sunday at Haller's. She was born October 4, 1920 in Wellston, OH to Eber and Mamie Scott Sullivan. Survivors include four sons, Ronald (Duena) Cottrill and Mike Cottrill, both of Chillicothe, Tim (Cassie) Cottrill, of Cincinnati, OH, and Tony (Nancy) Cottrill, of Nashville, TN; ten grandchildren: Lynette (Robin) Flack, Amanda (Ben) Lewis, Scott (Jean) Daily, Tom Daily, Todd (Cheryl) Daily, Bridget (Brad) Smith, Anton Cottrill, Alison Cottrill, Cole Cottrill, and Amy Jo Cottrill; seven great-grandchildren: Jordan and Andrew Flack; Hayley, Jesse, and Luke Lewis; Allanah "Jelly Bean" Daily; and Hayden Smith; several nieces and nephews; and two sisters, Virginia Welshimer and Gwendolyn Hope Carroll, both of Chillicothe. She was preceded in death by her former husband, George Cottrill; four children: Shelby Gervais; Betty, Regina, and George Cottrill; a brother Earl Sullivan; and a sister Elizabeth "Lib" Smith. Mrs. Cottrill was a member of Brookside Church. Memorial contributions may be made to the church's Senior Center, at 2215 Egypt Pike, Chillicothe, OH 45601.
