Franklin E. Dresbach Franklin E. Dresbach, 93, of Hallsville, died Friday, March 21, 2008 in the Adena Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Wednesday, March 26, 2008, in the Hallsville Community United Methodist Church, with Rev. David Titler officiating. Burial will follow in Hallsville Cemetery. Friends may call 4-7 pm Tuesday at Haller's. He was born May 6, 1914 in Ross Co. to Samuel H. and Hazel L. Cryder Dresbach. On February 14, 1942 he married Mabel G. Rice, who survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Myra E. Brown, of Hallsville; grandchildren: Jody A. Brown, Amy L. (Scotty) Brown Thompson; and Jake Brown; great-grandchildren: Ellie and Leo Thompson and Chloe Blazer; a sister, Christine Severance, of Dayton; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Melba Spraley and Elsie Bartholomew and a son-in-law, Keith A. Brown. Mr. Dresbach was a farmer, active in and around the Hallsville community, and an active member of the Hallsville Community United Methodist Church.
