Frank Allen Shewalter

Frank Allen Shewalter, a lifelong resident of Chillicothe, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 21st, 2026, at the age of 76. Born on Wednesday, January 4th, 1950, in the same town that he called home throughout his life, Frank was known for his dedication to family, community, and his work.

Frank spent his career at Mead Paper Mill, where he worked diligently and with great pride. His commitment and work ethic were respected by colleagues and friends, many of whom became like family over the years. Frank's contributions to the industry and his community will be remembered fondly by all who knew him.

He is survived by numerous friends at the Moose Lodge 1626 and Fraternal Oder of Eagles, who cherished his companionship and wisdom. The family would like to extend their gratitude to all those who have offered their support and condolences during this difficult time.

In accordance with Frank's wishes, he was cremated, and a graveside service will be held at Mount Carmel Cemetery at a later date, where friends and family will gather to celebrate his life and bid farewell.

Frank Allen Shewalter will be remembered as a dedicated worker, a loving friend, and an integral part of the Chillicothe community. His memory will live on in the stories shared and the lives he touched.
