Frank Maughmer

Frank H. Maughmer, Jr., 75, of Columbus, went to be with the Lord on March 1, 2007. He was born October 24, 1931, in Chillicothe, to the late Frank H. and Jeanette (Wright) Maughmer, Sr. He was the widower of Charlene (Woodfork) Maughmer. He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law Vicki (Myers) Sewards, of Chillicothe; Linda Mitchell; Teri (Wendell) Mullens; and Ginger Mask, all of Columbus; step-children Doreesa (Jewel) Jackson, Russell Jackson, and Jeffrey (Gail) Jackson, all of Columbus; 12 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-granddaughter; his brother Bishop Melvin (Sharon) Maughmer, of Chillicothe; special friends Andy, Lisa, and the Wolfe family; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers John and Toby Maughmer; a sister Beverly Locklear; and a grandson Curtis Maughmer. Frank was a member of the Glorious Church of God, 123 W. Main St., Chillicothe, where funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday, March 6, with Assistant Pastors Michael Maughmer and Melvin Maughmer, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call Tuesday from 11-1 at the church.
