Francie Riggs

Francie Jean (Julian) Riggs, 50, of Lucasville, died at 9:33pm January 5, 2018, at Southern Ohio Medical Center, Portsmouth, following complications from a recent surgery.   She was born May 11, 1967, in Chillicothe, to the late Herbert, Jr. and Judith Kay (Patterson) Julian.   Francie is survived by her fiancé Shane Riggs, Lucasville; her son Justin Young and his fiancée Lindsey Poling, Frankfort; daughter Kaitlyn Young, Chillicothe; her "adopted" son Jeremy Kaltenbach; step-children: Spencer and Mason Riggs, both of Lucasville; grandchildren: Taylor, Jaylen and Madelyn "Maddie"; sisters: Angie (Frank) Beatty; and Leah (Tony) Detty; her brother Herb (Mary) Julian III; and many nieces and nephews including Tyler (Kylie) Lowe, Zachariah (Leigh) Lowe, and Nicholas (Brittany) Detty.   Francie was a graduate of Southeastern High School, Class of 1985 and worked at Fluor-BWXT. Francie enjoyed spending all of her time outdoors with family and friends. She especially loved being a Nana to her beautiful grandchildren. She was a devoted wife, mother, nana, sister, aunt and friend, and will always be remembered for her infectious laugh and gorgeous smile that could light up any room.
