Frances Justice

Frances Mae Hines Justice, 90, of Chillicothe, died 7:15 pm, Monday, October 6, 2014, at National Church Residences-Chillicothe, following an extended illness. She was born March 23, 1924 in Ross Co. to the late Herbert and Mabel Palmer Yates. On August 20, 1941 she married Homer E. Hines, who died in 1976 and on December 25, 1988 she married Jacob Justice, who died in 2002. Survivors include her children, Donald (Peggy) Hines and Bruce (Button) Hines, both of Chillicothe, and Sherry (Mike) Gallagher, of Tarlton; two grandsons, Edward (Verda) and Terrance (Stacy) Hines; four granddaughters, Tiffany (John) Coyle, Maranda Hines, Melissa (Charles) Rutter and Andrea (Charles) Reed; 13 great grandchildren; a great-great grandson; and an aunt, Nina McCollister. She was preceded in death by a son, Timmy Cy, a brother, Earl Yates, and an infant sister, Clara Katherine Yates. Mrs. Justice was a member of Trinity Lighthouse Church, Gideons of Pickaway and Ross County, and Ross Co. SALT. She evangelized with her husbands through song, piano, organ and accordion. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Thursday at the HALLER FUNERAL HOME, Rev. John Coyle and Rev. David Titler officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 pm Wednesday at Haller's. Memorial contributions may be made to The Gideons in her honor.
