Frances Jones

F. Esther Jones Frances Esther Jones, 85, of Chillicothe, went home to be with her Lord on October 5, 2006, in Heartland of Chillicothe Nursing Home, following an extended illness. She was born March 27, 1921 in Pennsboro, WV to William and Ida Mae Current Edler. On September 18, 1936 she married Arthur N. Jones, who died October 16, 1995. Surviving are her children, Betty (John) Virgin, Dessie (John) Lawhorn, Mary Hilf, Norma (Darrell) Collins and sons, Arthur "Junior" (Beverly) Jones, and John "Bill" (Rennie) Jones, all of Chillicothe; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert, Harley and Ray Elder; a sister, Edna Withrow; an infant grandson, Ricky Lee Virgin; and a son-in-law, George Hilf. She was a member of the First Church of The Nazarene. A special thank you to Heartland Nursing Home of Chillicothe and Hospice of Heartland for all the support they have given her family. Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Sunday, in the Haller Funeral Home, Rev. John Nunley officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 pm Saturday, and one hour prior to the funeral service at Haller's.
