Forrest Corkwell

Forrest W. Corkwell, 45, passed away June 11, 2016, at Berger Hospital following a hard fought battle with cancer. He is survived by his son, Ryan Corkwell; his sister Debronica Sickels (Scott Smith), all of Chillicothe; a brother Dave Kuhn (Mindy Cantley), of Londonderry; a sister Rebecca (Ernie) Ward; his father Arthur Corkwell; nephews Dakota and Dalton Sickels; a niece Makenna Ward; aunts and uncles Emmely, Murice, George, Janice, Pam, Sherry, Anna and Tony; and many friends including good friends Mike and Krissy Pauley, Clark and Dottie McCoy, Kim Sellman and Rex and Elaine Newlan, all of Chillicothe. He was predeceased by his mother Judy Corkwell; grandparents Willie Stotridge, Lillian Bost, Audrey Corkwell and Harold Corkwell. Forrest was a graduate of Southeastern High School, Class of 1991. He had worked at Glatfelter until his health no longer permitted. He loved the outdoors, camping and kayaking, especially with his son Ryan. The family would like to give special thanks to Scott Smith, Berger Hospice and Mike and Krissy Pauley. A Celebration of Forrest's Life will be held for family and friends from 5-8pm Friday, June 17, at the American Legion Post 62, 53 W. Main St., upstairs. In keeping with his wishes, cremation services will be held under the direction of Haller Funeral Home & Crematory. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Berger Hospice, 1170 N. Court St., Circleville, OH 43113.
