Felicitas E. Coyle, 74, of Chillicothe, died unexpectedly, January 11, 2014 at her home. She was born December 9, 1939 in Vanceburg, Kentucky, to the late David P. and Goldie (Willis) Morrison. On February 2, 1965 she married John Coyle who preceded her in death on May 4, 1970. Surviving is her son and daughter-in-law, David (Mara) Coyle, of Chillicothe; two beloved grandchildren, Rory and Liam Coyle, of Chillicothe; a sister, Beverly Cooper, of Hillsboro; one aunt, Ruth Reis, of Vanceburg, KY; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In addition to her parents and husband John, she was predeceased by her brother, Charles Morrison, and sister, Donna Beeler. Felicitas was a graduate of Huntington High School, class of 1957. On April 13, 1962, she enlisted in the United States Marine Corps where she was honorably discharged. She retired from the VA Medical Center after working in the food service department. She was a local member of the AMVets Post #4. Felicitas was also a member of The Ross County Firing Squad; where she acquired the nickname "Boom-Boom". She loved classic country music, reading and telling dirty jokes, enjoyed watching television, and her pride and joy were her grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the Haller Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Viar officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 11:00am-1:00pm on the day of the service.
