Fay G. Coleman, 94, of South Salem, died peacefully at 9:45am, April 9, 2017, at her home. She was born September 28, 1922, in Climax Springs, MO, to the late Martin & Bertha (Tobey) Grainger. On June 12, 1941, she married Larry S. Coleman, who preceded her in death on August 19, 2008. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law David (Ellen) Coleman; granddaughters Sheila (Rod) Havens, Sheryl (Brian) Roseberry, Angela (Bill) Ward; great-grandchildren Jacob Stewart, Josie (Craig) McDowell, Kennedy (Mariah Hamrick) Roseberry, Kassady Roseberry, Cole and Gavin Havens, and Maria Ward; great-great-grandchildren Emmitt Roseberry and Jackson McDowell; and her brother James David Grainger. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son Donald L. Coleman; and siblings Anna, Alta, Harold, Roena, Ruth and Ralph. Mrs. Coleman was a devoted Christian. She enjoyed working on the farm with her husband and hunting wild turkey with him. She'll be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. Funeral services will be held at 10:30am Thursday, April 13, at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastors Kenion Coleman and Irving Ross officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may call from 9:30-10:30 Thursday at Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.
