Evelyn Rice

Evelyn Elaine Rice, 58, of Chillicothe, formerly of Waverly, left this world peacefully on Wednesday March 12, 2008, in Adena Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at Noon, Monday March 17, in God's Community Outreach, 27307 US Route 35, with Pastor Woodrow Wilson officiating. Burial will be held at the convenience of family and friends in Waldren Hill Cemetery in Pike County. Friends may call from 10am until Noon Monday at the church. Arrangements are under the direction of Haller Funeral Home. Evelyn was born on September 25, 1949, in Columbus, Ohio. She moved to Ross County with her foster parents, Samuel and Gladys Koons, who preceded her in death. Evelyn was employed by First Capital Enterprises, where she thoroughly enjoyed her job and the people she worked with. She attended God's Community Outreach where she accepted Jesus as her Savior and was baptized. She loved and was loved by the congregation and she participated in the women's fellowship activities. Evelyn enjoyed being with her friends, caring for her pet fish, listening to country music, and collecting photographs. She will be sadly missed by her many friends.
