Evelyn Huffman

Evelyn Arbutus Huffman, 74, of Chillicothe, passed away suddenly Monday, November 22, 2021, at the Adena Regional Medical Center.   She was born January 11, 1947 in Pt. Pleasant, WV.  Evelyn, known to most in the family as Arbutus, was a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She always told you like it was, even if you didn't want to hear it.  She had a heart of gold and was a beautiful person, inside and out.  She was loved by all who met her.   She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Huffman, and son, Robert L. Huffman II.  Survivors include three children, Kathy (Arhur) McGill and Christopher Huffman, both of Chillicothe, and Shana (Andrew) Bapst, of Columbus; seven grandchildren, Roseleta McGill, Carl Wallace III, Maronda and Shawna McGill, Ashley Carr, Alexander and Lilliyana Bapts; two great-grandchildren, Anthony McGill and Aaron Carr; and numerous extended family and friends.   The family will receive friends 4:00-6:00 pm Saturday, at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.  Her online memorial register is available at www.HallerFuneralHome.com.
