Eunice Hatfield

Eunice A. Hatfield, 84, of Chillicothe, died at 7:05pm Thursday July 3, 2008, after an extended illness. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Monday, July 7, in the Haller Funeral Home with Rev. Garry Proehl officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the funeral at the funeral home on Monday. Eunice was born October 18, 1923, in Ross Co. to the late Hiram and Imo Black Throckmorton. On April 14, 1946, she married Lawrence Hatfield, who preceded her in death on July 2, 1977. She is survived by several cousins including Debbie (Keith) Proehl; Barbara Horn, all of Chillicothe; Chief Petty Officer David Horn and Petty Officer 1st Class Daniel Horn, both of Virginia Beach, VA. Eunice retired from the Mead Corporation in 1979 after 28 years of service. She was a member of the United Papermaker Union, Local 731.
