Eugene Grubb

Eugene Grubb, 87, of Chillicothe, died July 6, 2005, at his residence. He was born October 6, 1917, in Ross Co. to the late Jess and Florence (Trego) Grubb. On January 30, 1946, he married the former Rita Jean Mettler, who preceded him in death on November 24, 2002. Surviving are his four children: Marshia Grubb, of Chillicothe; Garrett and Teresa Grubb, Grove City, OH; Marcetta and Randy Potter, of Idaho; and Angela Grubb, of Chillicothe; 6 grandchildren and their wives; and 7 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, three brothers and his foster parents Ovie and Ethel Garrett. Mr. Grubb was a retired farmer from Cynthiana, OH. Funeral services will be held 11:00am Saturday, July 9, at the Haller Funeral Home with Elder Arvil Murray, Jr., officiating. Burial will follow in Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery, Meade, OH. Friends may call Friday from 5-8pm at Haller Funeral Home.
