Etheleen Drake

Etheleen G. "Shorty" Drake, 97, of Chillicothe, died December 29, 2022 at the Adena Regional Medical Center, following a brief illness.
She was born December 14, 1925 in Lisbon, North Dakota to the late Harry and Ethel Thomas Griggs. She married Lawrence M. Drake, who preceded her in death. Survivors include two children, Thomas (Jean) Drake, of San Diego, CA and Tracy (Sandra) Drake, of Chillicothe; four grandchildren, Derrek and Ryan Drake, Kimberly Spinner and Nicholas Drake; and three great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Drake retired from ASCS farm service office and was a Southeastern High School graduate. She was a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees., enjoyed playing cards and making rugs.
Graveside funeral services will be held at approximately 1:30 pm Tuesday in Londonderry Cemetery. Friends may call 12:00-1:00 pm Tuesday at the Haller Funeral Home & Crematory.
