Ethan Scott Knisley, 14, of Bainbridge, died February 18, 2011, at Children's Hospital, Columbus, OH, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born November 22, 1996 in Columbus, OH, to Timothy and Gretchen Wisecup Knisley, who survive. Also surviving is a sister, McKenzie Paige Reutinger; maternal grandparents, Michael Wisecup and Pattie Shaw; paternal grandmother, Lucille Knisley; several special aunts; uncles; and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Les and Betty Ann Knisley. Ethan was a member of Maple Grove Church. He played baseball, enjoyed farming, and loved dogs, hunting, fishing, and working on his Ford. He always had a smile on his face and big dimples. He never met a piece of machinery he didn't love. He was his dad's best buddie. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Wednesday, February 23, 2011, at the Paint Valley High School Gymnasium, Revs. David Maughmer, Sam Cooper, and David Dean officiating. Burial will follow in Twin Township Cemetery. Friends may call 4-8 pm Tuesday at the school gym. Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the Leslie Knisley, Ethan Knisley and Nathaniel Minney Memorial Fund, at the Vinton/Ross County Banking Center. The families are sure all three are in heaven.
