Esther Netter

Esther M. Netter, 78, of Chillicothe, passed on to Heaven at 1:20pm February13, 2010, at Select Specialty Victorian Village, Columbus, while being surrounded by family and friends. She was born August 8, 1931, in New Vienna, OH to the late Wayne McKinley and Vivian Iona Peale Bunch. On April 17, 1954, she married Wetus K. Netter, Jr., who survives. Also surviving are her sons Tony and Rick Netter; daughter and son-in-law Monalee (Bo) Cosby, all of Chillicothe; grandchildren: Randy Brown; Aleah, Ashley and Brock Netter; and Jalyn Cosby; great-grandchildren: Jama Brandon; Kelsee Ferrell; Lyndon White; and Deegan Brown; sisters Louise Booker, Baltimore, MD; Jeannine Hansberry; Theresa Zimmerman; and Glenna (James) Dyer, all of Chillicothe; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her four brothers: Deedee, Eddie, Joe and Harvey Bunch. Mrs. Netter worked at the former Chillicothe Hospital and also the Chillicothe Veterans Affairs Medical Center, where she retired from in 1992. She was a graduate of Chillicothe High School, Class of 1950. She was a member of the Zion Baptist Church where she belonged to the Loyal Club. She loved her family and loved spending time with them. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm Friday, February 19, at the Zion Baptist Church with Rev. J. Troy Gray officiating. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may call Thursday from 6-9pm at Haller Funeral Home.
