Estella E. Matthews Byrd, 52, of Washington CH, died May 13, 2022, at the Adena Regional Medical Center, following an extended illness.
She was born October 31, 1969 in Xenia, OH to the late Michael L. and Marsha E. Follis Matthews. Survivors include 3 children, Natasha (Latrail) Bowman, Kenneth Hatfield III, and Lacey Hebb, all of Washington CH, a step-daughter, Kirsten Proehl, of Chillicothe; 5 grandchildren, Jeremiah, Wyatt, Wakely, Mason and Evelayna; 4 siblings, Corrina Matthews and Kareal Manns, of Washington CH, Lamar Matthews, of Jeffersonville, and Hugo Matthews, of El Paso, TX; her stepmother, Martha Ortiz, of El Paso, TX; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family. She was preceded in death by a spouse, Kenneth Hatfield.
Estella loved being with family, and spending time outdoors.
A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Kingdom Hearts Church, 375 S. Watt St., Chillicothe, OH 45601.
