Esta Stoneburner

Esta E. Stoneburner, 80, of Chillicothe, died 5:25 pm, Sunday, September 9, 2012, at the Adena Regional Medical Center. She was born February 13, 1932 in Portsmouth, OH to the late Leonard and Verna Adkins Leadingham. On November 25, 1954 she married Edgar Stoneburner, who died October 9, 1997. Survivors include a daughter, Molly Smith, of Chillicothe; sons, Michael (Debra) Stoneburner, of Chillicothe and Joseph Stoneburner, of Seattle, WA; a grandchild, Heather (Evan) Steele, of Chillicothe; and a brother, Ronald (June) Leadingham, of Kingston. She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, Dorothy Leadingham, Helen Leist, and Melissa King. Mrs. Stoneburner retired as a teacher's assistant at the Kingston Elementary. She was very active at the Kingston Presbyterian Church, until her health prohibited from participating. She truly missed sharing time with her fellow parishioners. The family would like to thank the staff of Westmoreland Place for their 12 years of excellent care and the staff of the Adena Regional Medical Center, 3A. Graveside funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Friday in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Kingston. Friends may call 6-9 pm Thursday at the Haller Funeral Home.
