Ernest Goble Ernest Goble, 81, of Hillsboro, formerly of Chillicothe, died 9:40 am, Tuesday, May 27, 2008 in Riverside Methodist Hospital, following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, June 7, 2008 in the Haller Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at Haller's. He was born January 2, 1927 in Louisa, KY to Andy and Della Cornett Goble. On June 1, 1948 he married Geneva J. Legg, who survives. Also surviving are his six children, David (Barbara) Goble, of Oklahoma City, OK, Myrna (Ervin) Reno, of Hillsboro, Patricia (Bruce) Hall, of Columbus, Melissa (Thomas) McKelvey, of Beaver Creek, OH, Twana Goble, of Frankfort, and Twila Goble, of Galena; eight grandchildren, Cara (David) Heist, Kurt Goble, Amanda Reno, Corby (Tina) Reno, Chris (Becky) Fyffe, Megan Fyffe, Carly and Sara Arrowood; three great-grandchildren, Alexandra and Benjamin Heist, and Garrett Reno; three sisters, Geneva Derifield, Marie Silcott, and Madeline Ingham; and a brother, Jim Goble. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Oscar and Ira Goble. Mr. Goble was a World War II Army Veteran. He was a former carpenter, and had retired as an apartment complex manager.
