Steven Erik Johnson, 38, of Chillicothe, passed away early Saturday morning, October 15, 2022 at the Adena Regional Medical Center, as the result of a medical emergency.
He was born April 27, 1984, in Chillicothe, Ohio, beloved son of Steven Howard and Jacqueline (Allen) Johnson.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two loving children, Makiah and Zerik Johnson; his two brothers, David and Miami Johnson; nephews, Peyton, Elijah, and Knowlton Johnson; step-daughter, Reignlynn Stephens; a longtime best friend, Nate (Shelby) Hamilton; close friend, Trudy Cool; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank (Shirley) Johnson, and Bill (Mary) Hatfield.
Erik was a graduate of Paint Valley High School and Pickaway-Ross, class of 2003. In his free time, he enjoyed going out 4-wheeling, and kayaking, but absolutely loved poker night with the guys. He also loved getting to spend time with his family and children, whom he dearly loved.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday evening, October 21, 2022 at the Haller Funeral Home from 5:00pm-7:00pm.
