Emmalu Wade

Mrs. Emmalu (Ziegenfuss) Wade, age 83 and a 14 year resident of Chillicothe, OH, passed away Sunday, May 20, 2012 at the Adena Regional Medical Center. The former Jerseyville resident was born May 6, 1929 in Alton, IL. Mrs. Wade was preceded in death by her husband, James A. Wade, Sr., a daughter, Millie (Wade) Stout, and her parents, Edward and Alyis (Johnston) Ziegenfuss. Mrs. Wade is survived by 3 children: James A. Wade, Jr., Alyis (Wade) Wilborn, and Julie (Wade) Snider, 9 grandchildren: Rachel Wade-Harper, Joshua Wade, Jeremy Stout, Elizabeth (Stout) Shaw, Andrew Wade, Granvul Wilborn, Paschal Wilborn, Alyis Snider and Emma Snider, 8 great-grandchildren: Hannah Wade, Mya Wade-Harper, Willow Wade-Harper, Maria Detty, Jeremiah Stout, Luke Stout, Jessica Stout and Courtney Stout, and a sister: Mildred (Ziegenfuss) Bailey. As a mother and a friend, Emmalu will be greatly missed. Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
