Emma Leedom

Emma J. Leedom, 85, of Chillicothe, died 11:28 am, Monday, June 1, 2009, in the Adena Regional Medical Center. She was born May 2, 1924 in Chillicothe to John and Ruby Ellison Nichols. On January 18, 1943 she married Harold Leedom, who survives. Also surviving are two daughters, Saundra (Paul) Moore, of Lucasville and Melissa Jo (Frank) Carey, of Las Cruces, NM; 3 grandchildren, Michael (Sandy) Moore, Carrie (Eric) Nichols and Stephanie (Alan) Blakely; 4 great-grandchildren; a great-great grandchild; a sister, Olga Truman, of Chillicothe; a brother, John (Mildred) Nichols, of Chillicothe; and a special daughter-in-law,, Karen (Al) Fundaburk, of Bloomsburg, PA. She was preceded in death by a son, Randy Leedom. Mrs. Leedom was a member of the Bridge St. Church of Christ. Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday in the Haller Funeral Home, with Robert Hull officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call 6-8 pm Thursday at Haller's.
