Emma Elgin

Emma Alice Jane (McCullough) Elgin, age 91, of Sanford, Florida, passed away February 25, 2015. Emma Jane was born July 9, 1923, the daughter of the late Edward Dale and Bertha (Reynolds) McCullough, in Chillicothe, Ohio. She served her country proudly in the US Navy from September 2, 1943 to August 23, 1944. Mrs. Elgin was predeceased by her first husband Charles Edward Ely of Greenfield, Ohio and two brothers, Robert and Paul. She is survived by her loving husband of 30 years, L. Frank Elgin, her children, Janet Mackall and Lane (Deborah) Ely and stepson, David Elgin. She is also survived by her grandchildren Stephen (Lynne) Mackall , Rebecca (Robert) Sebor, and Lea (Andrew) Tate; her great grandchildren, Joseph, Hannah, Madyson and Lucas, and step great grandchildren, Raoul and Antonio. Graveside services conducted by the Ross Co. Veterans Honor Guard, will be held 11:30 am, Saturday, March 28, 2015 in Hallsville Cemetery.
