Emily M. Weisenberger, 24, of Chillicothe, died at 1:55pm on November 11, 2013, at Ohio State University Medical Center following a courageous two-year battle with cancer. She was born June 21, 1989, in Chillicothe to Robert V. and Victoria P. (Bigler) Weisenberger, who survive. Also surviving are her sisters and brothers-in-law Paula (Josh) Davis; Karla (Larry) Lindsey; brothers Matthew and Mark Weisenberger, all of Chillicothe; nephews Sean and Luke Davis; and Cameron Lindsey; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Victor and Mary Bigler; and paternal grandparents Albert and Roberta Weisenberger. Emily attended Bishop Flaget School through 8th grade and graduated from Chillicothe High School, Class of 2007. She earned her Associates Degree in Applied Business from Ohio University-Chillicothe in 2011. She worked as a manager at Tumbleweed Restaurant. Emily was a lifelong member of St. Peter Catholic Church. She was a very vivacious and lively young lady and was often the life of the party. Throughout her illness, for strength and encouragement she chose to wear the color red, her favorite color. Family and friends are encouraged to wear red for her services. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am Thursday, November 14, at St. Peter Catholic Church, Rev. William Hahn, Celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Margaret Cemetery. Friends may call Wednesday from 4-8pm at Haller Funeral Home, where a wake and rosary service will be held at 8pm.
